In today’s world young people are faced with a whole host of stresses and pressures that did not exist for previous generations. Improving a young person’s sense of self and their relationships with others are vital in achieving success and helping them to cope effectively with their daily lives Teaching core competences such as personal responsibility, self-control and empathy as well as conflict resolution and cooperation have been well established as fostering a student’s self-esteem, which not only enhances school performance and classroom behaviour but creates caring and compassionate citizens for the future.

The workshops create a safe and respectful place for young people to express themselves openly and use activities such as discussion, role-play, art and more to create a toolkit of emotional and social skills for life.
